Some more sessions drawing out and about. One week I actually decided to try painting from life. I haven’t done this for years, and although it is not altogether successful, there are bits of it I really like. Even more importantly I like the fact that I did paint out, and then went back and finished it. The little sketch I did a few weeks before and it was this that inspired me to try and paint the scene.
