52Frames set a challenge of night photography this week. This gave me a chance to use another photo reference I have had sitting around.  A year or so ago I took some photos, with the ipad, of my neighbours house. The full moon and the house were behind the trees. I rather like them only they are a bit grainy. However I had been thinking about an idea I had for some paper cuts of night scenes so perfect……

The papers were all from my collection. the black was a fancy paper bag and it cut really well. I cut the papers mostly with a craft knife. None of the papers have been altered or coloured in any way. I had forgotten how much I enjoy paper cutting and how effective it can be. You have to think hard about what to include, especially at small scale.

I am really pleased with it and this and the silouhette from an earlier week will hopefully encourage me to do more.
