Patty and I ran a print day as part of our Hill and Habitat exhibition. We had 5 participants and, although at the start of the day the weather was very unpromising, it turned into a lovely day which we enjoyed greatly. Those attending were of mixed artistic experience which made for a really interesting group.
First thing we sent everyone out with paper and pencil (no erasers!) to do some drawing for inspiration and to collect items of interest.
We regrouped to look at drawings and then worked on some monoprints.
We had a lunch break with food provided by Tegg’s Nose Cafe and then went on to linocutting.
Some fantastic prints were produced!
