52Frames One Light Source Week 38

Sep 25, 2022 | 52Frames, Lighting, Nature, paper cut | 0 comments

One Light Source is the challenge from 52Frames this week. I couldnt really think what to do, especially as we had already had lamp, silhuoette and night. I was flipping though my photos in my project folder and came across several I had taken at the Natural History Museum. I had gone with a friend and we were in the dinosaur section. There are some skeletons hung from the ceiling and spot lit. This one cast a great shadow!

I think it pretty much fills the brief and I decided to do it in paper cut. It helps simplify the image and creates some drama. I was trying to find a background and found this print I had done years ago, as part of another project. I lthink it is just enough texture to add to the image.

I like the rather abstract feel of the image.
