Glass Painting Ely

I spent a day Glass Painting in Ely Stained Glass Museum. It was very interesting and great fun.

I saw the course in the paper and was lucky enough to secure a place. There were 6 of us and everyone did something different.

I have 4 victorian roundels with Aesops fables on and wanted to do something to fit with them so chose the story of the heron and the fish.

It would have been improved with more contrast but the process was fascinating and I am reasonably pleased with the finished piece.

I plan to get a surround made of blue glass which will help to finish it off.

Here are all the finished pieces. Some are from traditional designs and others are more modern. All look great!
