Colouring in Postcard

Feb 29, 2016 | colour, Inspiration, postcards | 0 comments

Have been colouring in this postcard for my mum. I have had a larger book for a while and had a go with felt tips; I found it a bit unsatisfying. I tried this one with some water soluble watercolour pencils and found them much more versatile. It was great fun to complete!

Colour is not my forte and it was nice to have a ready made design that I could just experiment with colour as part of the design. I will certainly be doing more of these to fill in an hour or so, experiment with colour combinations in a risk free way, and have something original to drop a line to friends and family.
