Life Drawing

First time in ages I have been to Life Drawing. Took my usual random selection of papers that have made it onto the life drawing pile, packing paper and sugar paper from an old scrap book this time. I try to limit what I take to draw with or else I get bogged down deciding what to use. I wanted a bit of colour so I took my neocolor tin which I really like.

Felt a bit rusty to begin with but the model was really good. Somehow I always feel the 2 minute sketches are the best, others being a bit dull by comparison. However I was quite pleased with a drawing I did on brown paper using the neocolor. Its got quite a nice feel to it. Unusually for me the model has at least one foot in each drawing, and they don’t look like flippers!

Lovely drawings, I was very happy to model for the group. There was a lovely creative buzz in the group, and a fabulous space to work in.
